Bodegas Luzon has renewed the IFS (International Food Standard) and the BRC (British Retail Consortium) certifications with excellent qualifications thanks to its firm commitment to achieving excellence.

Holding these certifications confirms the good practices carried out by the company with regards to food safety, as well as the rigorous work done by the quality department and the team’s involvement to permanently improve and make processes more efficient.

The IFS and BRC represent the most internationally recognised quality and food safety standards and with its renewal Bodegas Luzon reinforces the trust that  its customers as well as end users have in it to guarantee that its wines reach the market in perfect health and safety conditions with maximum quality, as well as meeting current food legislation (wine is officially a food since the 24/2003 Vine and wine law came into force).

In addition, Bodegas Luzon has the most demanding version of the ISO 14001 Environmental Certification and is one of the few Spanish wineries which has the Wineries for Climate Protection (WfCP) defining it as an environmentally sustainable company thanks to its demanding policy of continuous improvement and sustainability.

The company is one of the largest wine producers from the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Jumilla and its products have a distinguished character and are of high prestige among experts and consumers.

The winery manages more than 1,200 hectares of vineyards enabling it to obtain excellent grapes with which it makes elegant, fruity and pleasant wines, better and better positioned in the market for their careful elaboration and innovation.
