The sanctuary is for us “A place of worship and history“, since all the vintages we have made since 2001, are stored in this area.
To obtain the optimum conservation environment, temperature and humidity play a decisive role. The objective of storing these bottles is twofold: on the one hand, to allow future generations to remember the history of our winery, and on the other hand, to be able to obtain a “taste archive” that allows our winemaking team to know and learn about the compositions of past wines, or to carry out vertical tastings of some of our most emblematic references.
In addition to being a witness of time, the Sanctuary is a very significant space for all our visitors, and in which there are different barrels that keep signatures and dedications of the different personalities that have passed through our winery, leaving us a memory on their part that we keep as a tribute.
As part of our philosophy of continuous improvement, at Bodegas Luzon we want our visitors not only to enjoy our facilities, but also our history and our wines, which is why, through the Luzon Premium Experience, one of the benchmark visits of wine tourism in Jumilla, where wine tourists can taste one of the jewels that sleep in one of the niches of our sanctuary. What better way to learn about our history than through our wines?
Luzón Premium Experience is an activity that raises the Luzón Experience visit mode to the level of the most demanding wine tourists, making the visit a more interactive and exclusive tour. A more limited number of visitors, enjoying the evolution of our wines directly from the tank in times after the harvest and from the barrel throughout the year, tasting the evolution of our wines with a tasting of our Premium references, plus one of the jewels of our sanctuary, all paired with an appetizer prepared and designed for each of the wines that are included in the visit and that we renew each season to always, always, surprise whoever visits us.
