Today we would like to share with you all an exciting glimpse of the 2023 Harvest at Bodegas Luzón, an event that we have been looking forward to all year long and which has exceeded our expectations, thanks to the exceptional characteristics and unique harvest that has taken place in 2023.

One of the particularities of this year has been the weather, mainly due to the drought that has accumulated over the last two years. Although it has rained over the last few months, rainfall has been torrential, concentrating large volumes in a single period of the year instead of being spread out over time. This has resulted in a very short harvest in terms of quantities and a fortnight early, also due to the high temperatures recorded throughout the spring and summer.

Even with all that has been said above, we can affirm that this is a harvest in which our team of harvesters have harvested bunches of excellent quality and health, as the vineyard has maintained its leaf throughout the ripening process, the scarcity of grapes has allowed us to obtain small bunches with a good concentration and a perfect balance between sugar and acidity and the lack of humidity has prevented any microbiological problems in the grapes.

In conclusion, in 2023, we have witnessed a short but high quality harvest, with which we can ensure all the quality and production for our wines, as their exceptional characteristics will give us the opportunity to create wines with the unique and characteristic expression of our region and with a richness and complexity in aromas and flavours, which will certainly reveal layers of flavour and a well-defined structure in each sip of our wines.
