Last week, from November 4 to 7 2022, the XI Congress Región de Murcia Gastronómica returned under the slogan ‘Next level’, organized by LA VERDAD and La Brújula del Gourmet.
During the days of the congress, located in the annex to the Victor Villegas Auditorium, you could enjoy presentations by thirty top chefs, showcookings, tastings, gastronomic activities for children, the legendary ‘Tapas Street’, restaurants and great atmosphere on the terrace.
The starting signal for the congress was given with the inauguration of the congress by the President of the Community, Fernando López Miras; the Minister of Presidency, Tourism, Culture and Sports, Marcos Ortuño; and the Mayor of Murcia, José Antonio Serrano. From that moment on, the whole of Murcia passed through the congress, crowding its halls, streets and spaces, until the moment its doors closed.
During this congress we wanted to launch our new range, ‘Origen de Luzón’, to present it exclusively at Región de Murcia Gastronómica to all the attendees who came to our stand. There, the public was able to get to know the two varieties that make up ‘Origen’: a 100% Garnacha tintorera, with aromas reminiscent of black fruits, licorice and menthol touches, and a 100% Syrah, fresh, concentrated and very mineral in the mouth.
In addition to these novelties, we also offered tastings of our ‘Tomás Ferro’, a young white wine made from the Merseguera variety, as well as our well-known ‘Premium’ and ‘Collection’ ranges.
The congress was completed by the restaurant and live cooking area, where six establishments offered a menu designed especially for the occasion.
