The best vintages of both wines so far? If we take into account the scores of the latest Peñín guide, which has awarded 93 points to both wines, taking them to the podium of the great Spanish wines, everything seems to point to the fact that 2018, with atypical weather and late ripening, has brought us an Alma de Luzón and a Por Tí that will give us something to talk about.

A difficult year, with a cold winter that delayed the arrival of heat in the spring, which conditioned the ripening of the grapes and forced our team of winemakers to carry out an intense leaf removal and at the same time, remove clusters after the veraison, in order to force the remaining clusters to obtain the flavor and acidity required to be part of the great wines of our winery.

This atypical weather give us a later harvest than in previous years, what has resulted in two fresher, more vigorous wines with a more marked acidity. Wines that still have a Mediterranean character but with less color, which makes them more fluid, highly gastronomic and very unique wines despite their typicity.

ALMA DE LUZÓN 2018

Alma de Luzón 2018 is the result of a blend of Monastrell and Syrah. It is the wine that unites emotions with the senses. It pretends to find the meaning of the word Alma (soul in Spanish) and transcend. After the rebranding of its external appearance that we carried out in 2019, the olfactory, visual and gustatory game inside the bottle plays with the touch of its label and the velvety part of its front.

A very fragrant wine that in this 2018 vintage is presented with a good volume of acidity, with a touch of spices and soft smoky notes from the aging and a balanced freshness. A long and very gastronomic wine that makes it perfect for pairings with stews, game or grilled meats.

POR TÍ 2018

Por Tí may be one of the most loved wines by the followers of our winery and, in general, by lovers of Monastrell wines and the DOP Jumilla. A blend that combines two representative grape varieties in a organoleptically way. On the one hand, our Monastrell and on the other, a small contribution of a friendly grape such as Cabernet Sauvignon, resulting in a wine loaded with red fruit both on the nose and on the palate, with notes of compote softened in this 2018 vintage to give way to a fresher nuance, but bringing with it the notes of spices and cocoa typical of the toasted wood. A wine of great persistence.

The label was designed as a tribute to our loved ones, especially our children. A wine dedicated to those who will come, to those who will succeed us, designed to share unique moments. Expressive and poetic on the outside as well as on the inside.
