On July 16, and among an excellent competition that was undoubtedly synonymous with the big quality of the D.O.P. Jumilla wines, we received the Honorable Mention for our Luzón Monastrell Colección in the category of woodless wines, as well as the medal of gold in the XXVI Jumilla Wine Quality Contest, which once again marked our wine as the best Monastrell de Jumilla in young wines among all the wineries submitted to the contest for the second consecutive year.

To this fact, the result of the effort of a whole team to get the best wines from Jumilla, our Luzón Monastrell Collection continues to collect international recognitions. It has been awarded by the brilliant publication Wine Enthusiast with 90 points and also included in the Best Buy category for its extraordinary quality-price. This recognition represents a great fact for the production of our Monastrell red from the Colección category and adds to the recognition of the silver medal and 90 points for our Luzón Colección Rosado from the publication The Drink Business and the inclusion of our Luzón Colección Crianza in the list of the 100 best quality-price wines from the Wine Spectator publication, which certify the quality of all the wines in the Colección category.

Luzón Colección Monastrell is a 100% Monastrell wine, with an intense purple color, powerful aroma and full of red fruits such as cherries, strawberries and plums with a highly typified spicy finish of its Monastrell variety. In the mouth it is juicy and fresh, with a long, vibrant, enveloping body.

We are proud to see how, vintage after vintage, the wines of the Colección category and our Luzón Colección Monastrell continue to receive recognitions that value the dedication and passion that we put into this young red, made with the indigenous variety of the Protected Designation of Origin Jumilla: the Monastrell.
